Normal time is around 3 to 4 weeks, unless you order a custom blank/stringer arrangement, or if we don’t have a certain size blank in inventory. Because we use US Blanks from Southern California, the truck delivers to us here in Santa Cruz every 2 to 3 weeks. Also, large orders could take 4 to 5 weeks depending on the numbers.

For shipping to central and Southern California I use Action Sports Express. Rates are between $30 and $40 depending on length of board. For domestic out of state shipments we use DB Schenker. For international shipments we use Mapcargo. The costs vary depending on the size and weight of the packed board, along with destination.

Michel shapes every board. There are no “ghost shapers”. All custom boards are hand shaped. Eight of Michel’s models are cut by the ASP 2000, the best and most accurate contemporary machine available. He then hand finishes each of these models to ensure every nuance and detail of the board.

Yes, Michel has his own glass shop, so each board gets his personal care. He will always discuss the color ideas and what type of glass job you want.

Yes, you can always pick up a board at my factory. I have a small retail area with boards, fins, leashes and board bags for sale. I also meet personally for shaping appointments at my factory.
